Towngas Visit 2019

The MScHSM students visited the Hong Kong China Gas Company on 28 Nov, 2019. Students were all inspired by the innovation and quality management of the company.
In the debriefing session, students were encouraged to elaborate more on what they have learned and how the knowledge could be applied in health services management.
Netherlands Study Tour 2019

From Sep 29 to Oct 5, MScHSM, HSL students and alumni visited several elderly housings, medical centres, healthcare innovation companies and end-of-life centre in the Netherlands.
Site Visit Highlight:
Humanitas Deventer (Nursing Home), Topaz/Carebuilder (Rehab hotel), Hogeweyk Dementia Village, Buurtzorg, Vilans (Nursing agency), Silverfit, Amsterdam UMC, Habion (Developer of elderly housing) and EPAU(Palliative Care).
After this trip, participants have deeper understanding of the practice from different health care systems, organisations and hospitals other than Hong Kong. Also, they explored the population and financial challenges that the healthcare system is facing from this tour.
